Kurt Angle is a WWE Hall of Famer who has been a buddy of Brock Lesnar since the beginning. In a recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show podcast, he revealed something significant regarding Lesnar after he left WWE in 2004. Kurt claimed Brock was looking for other pro wrestling promotions before joining the UFC.

Brock inquired about Kurt’s salary at TNA and stated that if he could earn the same amount of money, he would be more than delighted to join the company. Kurt approached TNA with the offer, but they refused to give Lesnar that much money because they were already over budget.

Kurt Angle said, “Okay, Brock calls me. He is not in the WWE. He says, ‘Listen, man. Can you get me in TNA?’ I probably shouldn’t even be saying this now. But you know what? Brock doesn’t care. He said, ‘Hey, what are you making?’ And I said what I was making. He said, ‘If you can get me that, I’ll come.’ I approached TNA, and they said, ‘No, we’re not going to give him that kind of money.’”
