The most recent edition of Monday Night Raw featured a number of unforgettable moments, including the appearance of CM Punk. The Second City Saint made his first Raw appearance in nearly a decade. The 45-year-old delivered a promo on the show, addressing his unforeseen return to WWE. During his promo, Punk apparently referenced The Bloodline’s Paul Heyman.

For a change, this week’s Monday Night Raw ended on a high note. The show concluded with CM Punk delivering a heartfelt promo about his WWE return. In the midst of the promo, the 45-year-old mentioned Paul Heyman. Punk seemingly implied that Heyman once provided him with invaluable career advice, and that the latter’s advice has proved right.

The Straight Edge Superstar stated that a wise man once advised him to leave WWE and comeback again if he wanted to accomplish everything he wanted out of this place (WWE). The Chicago-born superstar also added that he had been feeling like himself since Saturday while referring to WWE as his home.

Moreover, CM Punk was managed by Paul Heyman between 2012 and 2013, during the former’s heel run as the WWE Champion. Heyman turned his back on the Straight Edge Superstar at Money in The Bank 2013. It will be truly fascinating to see Punk and Heyman cross paths now that the former is back.

CM Punk shocked the wrestling world with an emphatic return at Survivor Series. The superstar made his first-ever appearance on WWE programming in over a decade this Monday. While delivering his return promo to the WWE crowd, he referenced his wife and former WWE superstar, AJ Lee. As a result, fans have been speculating about Lee’s potential return to the company.

The Straight Edge Superstar came out to the remastered version of his Heavy Metal entrance theme. Contrary to popular belief, the WWE Universe welcomed the returning star with a thunderous ovation. The 45-year-old described his WWE comeback as a “family reunion.” Furthermore, he revealed that almost everybody in WWE welcomed him back with open arms.

She did, however, add that she intends to take things slowly.
