It’s been well over a month since Cody Rhodes saw eye-to-eye with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. However, some things transcend personal animosity. And that’s the business they’re into: pro wrestling, which The Great One claims is cool again. Cody recently reacted to a fan crediting him for bringing about the change. Rhodes acknowledged it but also took The Rock into account.
The American Nightmare responded by saying that he’s incredibly lucky. He didn’t know whether to consider himself in the driver’s seat or any other to rank where he’s at in the journey. Rhodes then said that Rock wasn’t mistaken when he promulgated the same thing. Cody termed it the Renaissance. It’s true that both superstars are not on the same page in terms of their ongoing storyline.
However, one cannot deny that they’re working for the same cause, and that’s to entertain the WWE Universe. Things have turned upside down in the past month or so. The Rock is no longer trying to act like Dwayne Johnson. Instead, he’s laser-focused on dropping some gospel on, as he calls them, the methhead mary’s and crackhead karens. And it’s all working.

Fans are turning up in numbers to dive into WWE’s weekly product. No wonder why the company’s been on a five-show sellout streak. A large portion of fans believe that Cody Rhodes is the driving force behind the groundswell in live attendance. However, there’s a lot of stuff that’s captivating the imagination of the viewers at the moment.
Cody Rhodes and The Rock to form an iconic rendezvous on SmackDown
Cody Rhodes and The Rock will be face-to-face on SmackDown this week. But neither of them would be alone. The Brahma Bull already has the entire Bloodline standing by his side, including Roman Reigns.
But Cody finally has a backup. He’ll be joined by Seth Rollins as the two journey to Dallas this Friday in front of yet another sold-out crowd. Cody and Seth are expected to give the official nod to Rock and Reigns’ challenge for a tag team match on WrestleMania Saturday.
One could expect fireworks from these exponents when they meet again. Everyone knows what happened in Las Vegas at the WrestleMania XL press event. And WWE has changed ever since; whether it’s for good or bad, the fans have the right to decide.
