Once again, Cody Rhodes has proven why he’s the best fit to beat Roman Reigns and hoist the WWE flag up high over the upcoming decade. In a major coup, The American Nightmare recently bestowed a special present on The Wrestling Club. The latter, consisting of teenage wrestling fanatics, expressed their wish to attend this year’s WrestleMania. In order to fulfill their desire, the club was seeking voluntary donations.
However, in a move that is being hailed by the wrestling fraternity, Cody Rhodes quoted a reply to the TWC, ensuring to bear their expenses and tickets for WrestleMania 40. Later, Victor Taylor Perry, the club’s owner, posted a video clip of TWC kids cavorting in rhapsody as soon as they found out that Cody Rhodes had decided to sponsor them on a trip to Philadelphia.

Reacting to the wholesome reaction, The Prodigal Son posted on X that he couldn’t wait to meet The Wrestling Club. Moreover, Rhodes implicitly teased finishing his story with Roman Reigns. No one would’ve forgotten the dolorous ending to last year’s WrestleMania, where Cody was left distraught with Reigns celebrating in the background.

To this day, many fans believe that WWE should’ve pulled the trigger and let Cody pin The Tribal Chief right there in Los Angeles. However, it did not happen. Now, the hope solely resides in what goes down this year in The City of Brotherly Love.
Some arguments have been made about whether Cody finishing his story doesn’t necessarily involve Roman Reigns; however, that’s not the case. Things went personal when Paul Heyman claimed that even though Dusty loved Cody, Roman was the son he always wanted.
Has The Rock’s WWE return put Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania plans on the back-burner?
This past Monday on Raw, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his return to WWE. Not only did he come back and tear Jinder Mahal apart, The Great One teased challenging Roman Reigns. For the first time in history, WWE strongly hinted at this dream showdown on television.

However, it has engendered a sense of trepidation among some fans. The concern resonates with Cody Rhodes potentially getting snubbed once again for his moment at WrestleMania. Though Reigns vs. Rock might happen at Elimination Chamber in Perth, most of the fans believe that a match of such capacity should only happen at The Grandest Stage of them all.
However, that would drive Cody Rhodes out of the equation, meaning he would have to wait even longer to settle the score with The Head of the Table. It’s a situation WWE needs to handle with utmost care, or else it could backfire.
