With every passing day, WrestleMania 39 inches closer and closer. There are a bunch of storylines to follow on the road to WrestleMania. However, there is no denying that The Bloodline drama is the most intriguing out of all of them. Cody Rhodes is set to take on Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Mania. On the other hand, Sami Zayn has been vowing to take The Bloodline down as he tries to reunite himself with his former best friend, Kevin Owens.
Ever since his exile from the faction, Sami Zayn has one goal in mind, which is to see The Bloodline come crumbling down. He also got an assist last week from Cody Rhodes in a brawl with The Usos and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline. However, Sami was not able to restore friendship with his former best friend, Kevin Owens. Owens also couldn’t reconcile his feelings for Zayn due to their past issues.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Cody opened the show to act as a mediator between Sami and Kevin. The American Nightmare started off by addressing The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, and their WrestleMania match. Cody then called out Owens and Sami and tried to make them forget their differences and fight The Bloodline together.
The RollerCodester also recalled an emotional story of Owens helping him in the past. However, Kevin respectfully rejected Cody’s plea and left following another argument with Zayn. Nonetheless, Owens came to the aid of Sami later on the show, to take out The Usos, and both finally reunited. Rhodes was also pleased to see the reunion from backstage.

Cody Rhodes needs to shift his focus to Roman Reigns
Cody Rhodes is set to square off against Roman Reigns in probably the biggest match of his career at the Grandest Stage. With the Tribal Chief being his Mania opponent, Cody automatically gets involved in The Bloodline drama.
Many believe he did a mistake by sticking his nose into Roman’s family matters and he will pay for that. However, The American Nightmare made it clear that he doesn’t work for The Tribal Chief and will do whatever he feels like.
The undisputed WWE Universal champion, Reigns is also announced for Raw next Monday. Fans could expect another face-to-face confrontation between Roman and Cody ahead of their Mania showdown. It remains to be seen what transpires on Monday.
