Cody Rhodes teed off with an artist on this week’s WWE Raw. After weeks of cat and mouse games, The American Nightmare locked horns with Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event of last night’s show in Cleveland. Everything was going at its own pace as Rhodes and Shin transitioned into the business end of the contest. Then, for some reason, Nakamura felt the need to blow the poison mist in Cody’s face, causing a disqualification.

Expressing her discontent over what transpired, Cody’s wife, Brandi Rhodes, has taken it to X. She simply called Nakamura a d*mb fellow. The Japanese wrestler didn’t take it easy on Brandi’s husband, even after he turned Rhodes’ lights out by spewing that mist. Initially, the fans thought that it would be the end when The Creed Brothers arrived at Rhodes’ aid. To gain some visibility, The Prodigal Son put some water in his eyes.

While Cody was being looked on by the WWE officials, Nakamura re-emerged on the scene and decked a knee right into his face. And that only suggests they’re far from over. With still over a month to go until the Royal Rumble, WWE had to engross Cody with someone. By the looks of it, the former AEW Superstar has a bone to pick with Shinsuke Nakamura.

These men might run it back one more time before calling it a day on their beef. Last night was their first-ever singles match, and the fans loved the chemistry both wrestlers displayed in their first outing together. It seems like The King of Strong Style will be Cody Rhodes’ last hurdle before he gets to regain his focus on finishing the story with Roman Reigns.

Just like his wife, Cody Rhodes’ sister, Teil Rhodes, has also issued a comment over her brother’s tumultuous fate on this week’s Raw. Things were going nice and steady until Shinsuke Nakamura snapped.

Taking it to her X account, Teil affirmed that she doesn’t like Mr. Mist, referring to Nakamura. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Cody Rhodes. He was also there last week on SmackDown to pay homage to US armed forces veterans.

Moreover, he even had an interaction with CM Punk where he welcomed The Best in the World back to WWE. Both superstars find themselves in next year’s Royal Rumble match, and they have their own story to finish.
