Complete ‘SPOILERS’ for the final edition of SmackDown before the Elimination Chamber

Grayson Waller debunks ongoing rumors (via NBC Universal)
Owing to the Elimination Chamber PLE staged overseas next Saturday, WWE scheduled a double-taping for SmackDown last night. Next week’s show has been recorded, and it was an eventful one, to say the least.
Fans in attendance at the Delta Center in Utah have shared several clips from the yet-to-be-aired blue brand episode. It witnessed the fallout from a loaded two-hour spectacle this week. The biggest outcome saw Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson draw inspiration from the Attitude Era as he denigrated those in attendance.
The Great One officially sided with The Bloodline after vowing to pull some strings on Cody Rhodes so that he leaves WrestleMania empty-handed. With that in the rearview mirror, let’s take a look at what’s in the store next week.
1} Tiffany Stratton gains headstart ahead of the Elimination Chamber
The opening match saw Tiffany Stratton take on Liv Morgan. Their match was made official last night after the two women had a backstage scrimmage. Nonetheless, the former NXT Women’s Champion Stratton ousted Morgan via a small package.
It’s worth noting that both Tiffany and Liv are in fray for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match next weekend in Perth. The winner will get a crack at Rhea Ripley‘s Women’s World title at WrestleMania. And with her victory over Morgan, Tiffany Stratton would feel she has the upper hand heading into the biggest match of her life in Australia.
2} The Bloodline segments
A couple of Bloodline segments also aired from backstage. There’s no further detail as to what they entail. However, one would expect that The Rock and Roman Reigns would’ve been the main features of it. After siding with his cousin last night, The Great One is hellbent on burying Cody Rhodes‘ story.
More exploits are expected in the forthcoming days. As the fans know, both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins have been announced as the guests on the Grayson Waller Effect at the Elimination Chamber. Though it’s merely speculation at this point, Rock and Reigns might make a surprise appearance at the PLE to confront the babyfaces.
3} Bron Breakker’s SmackDown in-ring debut
Bron Breakker had an ideal debut on SmackDown. This week, he signed an exclusive contract, endorsed by Nick Aldis. The former NXT Champion squashed Dante Chen to stamp his authority.
The way WWE milked out Bron’s main-roster joining speaks volumes of his stature in the eyes of the top brass. An heir of the legendary Steiner family, Bron Breakker could be the next big thing in WWE. His on-screen interactions with Paul Heyman have also sparked rumors of the two men pairing at some point down the road.
4} Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate vs. JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio
Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, now going to be known as the New Catch Republic, had a tag team match. They squared off against JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio. And the former British Strong Boys easily wiped off their competition.
This Saturday, they’ll take on Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles at the Elimination Chamber. It’s going to be a tightly-contested showdown. However, it would be interesting to see if Bate and Dunne have what it takes to knock out the sinister duo of The Judgment Day.
5} The AOP vs. The Street Profits
This week, The Authors of Pain had a squash match. However, next week, the fans will see them ply their trade against The Street Profits. And continuing their path of destruction, Akam and Rezar roped in yet another win.
The saga between Bobby Lashley, flanked by The Street Profits and Karrion Kross‘ Final Testament, has been going on for weeks now. It can’t be said what the endgame of the tussle these sides have had could be.
6} LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre ended in disqualification
Next week’s SmackDown will be headlined by Drew McIntyre and LA Knight. They even had a backstage argument last night where The Megastar seemed to have verbally ousted McIntyre. And for the fans who thought they’d know who’s more capable between the two inside the squared circle, this outcome may disappoint them.
Having said that, Knight vs. Drew ended in a no contest. After that, all the Elimination Chamber match participants had a run-in. First, Logan Paul got in there. He ate a spear from Bobby Lashley, who further had his chin checked by Drew McIntyre’s Claymore Kick. And finally, Randy Orton slithered to dish an RKO on The Scottish Warrior to end the show.
