“It’s CRAZY that it worked out better” Damian Priest shared his experience of working with WWE

Damian Priest

Damian Priest has a very successful WWE run in his short run. He joined the WWE company in 2018 working in the NXT. He did not have to stay in the brand for long and was soon introduced to the main roster in 2021. He has played both as an individual player as well as in a tag team and is successful in both.

He joined hands with the R Rated Superstar – Edge to start their tag team that came to be known as ‘The Judgement Day’. Later Rhea Ripley joined their stable. The trio worked wonders and soon invited Finn Balor to the stable. On the day the inclusion was to be done, Finn Balor attacked The Edge. Damian and Rhea stood there supporting the act. The stable finally led to the removal of Edge from the group and made Finn Balor as the new leader of the group.

Damian was recently in an interview where he spoke about his journey in WWE. “It feels good when you see the company trusts you. You don’t feel like you wasted your time or your abilities or anything. The dream was what it should have been and I am grateful for that. It’s crazy that it worked out better than I could have imagined,” said Damian. He himself was a big WWE fan who loved stables and groups.

Damian Priest was excited to be a part of a stable that too with The Edge. He felt all this was “very cool”. Talking of his teammates, he said, “Rhea and I, obviously everyone knows that we’re homies. Finn Balor’s one of my all time favorites. Us working together is definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.”

Damian added that he and Finn Balor went together quite well and their chemistry just goes well. They both understand what’s going on in the other’s mind without actually having to communicate. Damian Priest also saw their future in the company. He sees the stable achieve all the goals they have dreamt for themselves. He believes that the team will have a blast both on the screen and backstage. We will have to wait to find out for how long the newly formed WWE lasts.
