“He’s the smartest guy,” Former World Champion shares his thoughts over Triple H taking over as creative lead of WWE
WWE has seen some of the greatest rivalries in its history, including one between Triple H and Batista. The two most decorated superstars created some of the most iconic moments in sports history and revolutionised the industry.

Triple H has been one of the biggest names in sports entertainment. He has redefined this industry. “The Game” held multiple titles in the past and provided numerous memorable moments in WWE. The Cerebral Assassin has a long history with former World Champion Dave Batista. The two of them had been a part of one of the most dominant factions in WWE, known as The Evolution. Moreover, Batista competed in his final WWE match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Batista spoke about Triple H being the head of the creative. He praised Triple H and said that WWE is in safe hands with Hunter in charge. “I think this is the best thing for the company. It really is.[…] He’s the smartest guy I’ve ever met in my life.” he said. Moreover, the former Evolution member added that the Cerebral Assassin helped him elevate his career at the initial stages of his WWE career. Triple H took over the roles and responsibilities of the main roster back in the summer. It led to a new creative direction for the WWE roster under his vision.
Speaking further to Liam Crowley, Batista added that his former Evolution stablemate is devoted to this industry in a way no one ever was. Not only did he praise The Game, but he also added that WWE would reach new heights under Triple H. With Hunter in control, the WWE Universe has witnessed a fresh beginning. The fans also believe the WWE product has become much better. However, they say that there’s a dichotomy between the WWE product under Vince McMahon and Triple H. The WWE Board of Directors assigned Triple H the role of WWE Chief Content Officer. He took over the creative responsibilities of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown.
Dave Batista has been linked to Triple H all over his career. The two of them had some incredible matches. He hasn’t been seen on WWE television since 2019. Batista went to Hollywood to have a successful career there now that he’s done with wrestling.

Triple H has been the head of the WWE creative ever since Vince McMahon’s departure from WWE due to his ongoing allegations of sexual harassment. He is one of the smartest minds in the industry. As a result, it led to an optimistic working environment overflowing with fervor. Under Triple H, there has been a shift in creative control in WWE. Moreover, many of the wrestling fans who stopped watching WWE started to tune in.
With Triple H in control, WWE strived to put on a much better show for the worldwide audience. The fans have witnessed a transition in the storylines and the quality of matches. The company has seen some major changes since The Game took over. WWE seemed to be shifting its focus from “entertainment” to “wrestling” under Triple H. The quality of the matches has become much better in recent times. Moreover, Hunter placed more emphasis on long-term storytelling. Furthermore, WWE gave the superstars a lot of freedom to cut their own promo. It also allowed the talents to give their input regarding their storylines.
WWE has moved in a new direction, which fans believe is a fresh start with a change in creative control. The WWE Universe has been enjoying the product. The fans are eager to witness more interesting things in the future under Triple H’s vision. It is evident that WWE is changing direction in the post-Vince McMahon era.
