‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE programming since Crown Jewel. After narrowly pinning Bobby Lashley at the event, the former got mauled by The Almighty. Seemingly there’s no love lost between them and a decisive third is on the cards. However, that match could extend as long as for WrestleMania 39, according to the latest report from Xero News.

Well, Mania is still far away and there’s enough time to bother for it. What’s coming next is the Royal Rumble premium live event. And guess what, The Alpha Male of our species has received a scorching challenge from a former WWE Champion. So being said, it’s no one else than The Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre.

While having a chat with Sony Sports Namaste Drew special, McIntyre cleared his intentions. The 2-time WWE Champion was quick enough to call out Brock Lesnar for a match at Rumble next year. Basically, the Scottish superstar wants to get that one extra victory over The Beast. As of now, things stand even-steven. But, as McIntyre said, if they’ll cross paths once again, it’s going to be a war.

What’s the history between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre?

Although the saga of Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre isn’t decades old, it still got plenty within it. They first met at WrestleMania 36 when The Scottish Warrior earned the right to face remorseless Beast for the WWE Championship. After winning the Royal Rumble match, McIntyre’s momentum was on a roll and the WWE Universe got totally behind him.

But, in the wake of the most unfortunate circumstances, McIntyre vs. Lesnar at Mania had zero fans in attendance. Even though Drew won the title, there was no one for him to celebrate with. Had there been a live crowd, the atmosphere was certain to be electrifying for the newly crowned champ.

Next, the two met at this year’s Royal Rumble match. Fans in attendance hoped to witness a sort of war between the two, as they were the final two. In a perfect anti-climax ending, Lesnar went on to easily eliminate McIntyre, courtesy of an F-5. Everyone was left disappointed by the move, as they expected a lot more from the two.
