Last night on Raw, Cody Rhodes was made to relive the horrors of WrestleMania 39. In his first pinfall loss since Mania in Hollywood, The American Nightmare succumbed to Drew McIntyre. And now, The Scottish Warrior has mocked Cody in a way that only he could’ve done. Taking it to X, McIntyre made a reference to the infamous rubber chicken someone threw at Rhodes after his devastating rout against Roman Reigns.

Not only that, Drew said that Rhodes had no option but to shed some tears following last night’s setback. The Scotsman rubbed salt on Cody’s wound and asked him to come harder next time. As the fans saw, it was Solo Sikoa‘s Samoan spike that allowed Drew McIntyre to capitalize. It may sound like a broken record, but that ending traces back to the closing stretch of WrestleMania 39.

Cody had Reigns won if it wasn’t for The Enforcer. Once again, just weeks before stepping into the Island of Relevancy, The Prodigal Son was made cognizant of the consequences. Rhodes sent a single-word message after his gut-wrenching loss in Anaheim. And it will be imperative for Cody to get one of his own back on The Bloodline.

This weekend, Cody Rhodes will be at the Elimination Chamber. He’d be joined by Seth Rollins as they prepare to descend on The Grayson Waller Effect. There’s little to no hint as to what might go down during the Waller-hosted segment in Perth.

Roman Reigns recently had some words for Rhodes and Rollins ahead of their roles in Australia. However, The Tribal Chief was relaxed after knowing he wouldn’t need to travel to the Elimination Chamber.

Is Cody Rhodes secretly working with The Rock?

The main event is set. Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL. However, The Rock has promised that he’ll do everything in his power to force Dusty’s baby boy out of Philadelphia empty-handed.

But that promulgation made on SmackDown could just be a red herring. After rewatching The Rock’s heel promo, some fans concluded that The Great One is playing a double agent after siding with The Bloodline.

A camera angle suggests that Rock was pointing at Roman Reigns while uttering the word loser, though he said it for Cody Rhodes. At this point, it’s mere speculation. However, if it ends up being a ploy to strip The Tribal Chief out of his utopian universe, the fans may rejoice.
