Drew McIntyre recently failed to win the Undisputed Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at the Clash at the Castle Live event. The Scottish Warrior was distracted by Solo Sikoa, who interfered during the match and cost Drew McIntyre the Championship. McIntyre and Tyson Fury performed Sweet Caroline towards the close of the night, portraying themselves as best friends. Drew McIntyre is currently involved in a feud with Karrion Kross and the two are set to fight against each other at Extreme Rules in a strap match.
Drew McIntyre had unfinished business with the Former NXT Champion since his return as Kross had attacked McIntyre very badly on the night of his return to WWE. McIntyre had made sure that once he deals with Roman Reigns, he would proceed with Kross. The feud got intense when Karrion locked Drew in the Kross jacket and put McIntyre to sleep. On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre placed Kross in a strap and beat him viciously, but Kross managed to overcome and eventually locked Drew McIntyre in Kross’ jacket and put him to sleep.

Drew McIntyre hasn’t been involved in Supernatural gimmicks in his career
Karrion Kross’ current gimmick doesn’t seem to be a supernatural one but rather seems normal one with some fantasy elements involved in it. Drew McIntyre hasn’t been involved in any supernatural or fantastical gimmicks in his career, however he was going to fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26, and we may have seen Drew get involved in the Supernatural gimmick. Nonetheless, he wasn’t prepared for the major battle at the time, thus preparations were cancelled.
Back in 2020, While speaking with Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Drew McIntyre had shared about a paranormal story involving his friends. He said that two of his pals shared an apartment and that one of them saw a lady in his room one night and was terrified after seeing her, and that the terrified one along with his companion, who was studying, raced to the living room screaming that they had seen a ghost. Drew McIntyre reported that his pals have experienced hauntings every night since then.
“I am a fan of the paranormal. The story I always tell happened to two friends from Scotland who lived together in an apartment. I spoke to one of them and he told me that one night he woke up and he saw a woman in the room. His face was a bit spooky, blurry. When he noticed, he panicked and ran into the living room with his partner, who was studying, while shouting: ‘I think I saw a ghost!’ Since that night they saw apparitions every night.”
Drew McIntyre looks as if he is ready to beat the hell out of Karrion Kross at the Extreme Rules Live event, the only thing is that the Scottish warrior should be able to counter the Kross jacket at the Extreme Rules Live event.
