Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is widely considered as the Pioneer of professional wrestling. He was one of the top faces of the company during the Attitude Era. Not many people can match Rocky’s level on the microphone. And honestly most of the current roster can’t even come close to what he did during his prime. No disrespect intended to anyone as there have been way more restrictions on the language that can be used on a PG-rated show than it was back in the day.
Nowadays, The Brahma Bull stays busy with his Hollywood commitments. Due to which, he hasn’t competed inside the squared ring since 2016. His WWE appearances are reduced considerably in the last few years. The Great One hasn’t showed up in front of the WWE Universe ever after the season premiere of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox, that was back in October of 2019. Getting into this, the Black Adam star entered into a verbal chatroom with Lacey Evans shortly after his WWE appearance on the blue brand.
The Sassy Southern Bell tweeted out a video dishing out immediate disrespect to the WWE icon. In that clip, she replaced a wall-hanging photo of Johnson by herself saying “That looks better“. Although, everyone was expecting this to a matter of little interest until The Brahma Bull himself took the notice and roasted Evans in his own fashion. He replied by saying, “Tracey, Stacey whatever“, making fun of Lacey’s childish skit saying she should’ve found out a bigger photo of her so as to cover Johnson’s entire body. Will Dwayne Johnson show up at WrestleMania 39?
As known, The Rock turned down an offer to face Roman Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania. Owing to his incredibly packed schedule, the 50-year-old notified WWE about his inability to build a ring shape. After receiving Dwayne’s answer, WWE switched gears to their plan B. That being said, Cody Rhodes replaced Dwayne Johnson in that spot.
And now, the American Nightmare is destined to battle Roman Reigns at the Showcase of the Immortals. While it’s confirmed that Dwayne Johnson won’t wrestle a formal match in Los Angeles, that doesn’t mean he can’t even be on the show. Fans will be waiting for the Attitude Era cornerstone to electrify themselves when WrestleMania goes Hollywood this year.
