Dwayne Johnson is labeled as one of the greatest WWE superstars in history. Not only in the WWE, but The People's Champ is one of the biggest stars in the world. Recently, The Rock was announced as one of the presenters at this year's Oscar Awards.

Dwayne Johnson is an iconic figure in WWE who has won the World Championship 10 times in his career. He wrestled as a full-timer in WWE for around five years (November 1996–April 2002), and it was still enough for the People’s Champ to become one of the greatest superstars to ever step a foot inside the wrestling ring.
The success of this charismatic entity didn’t stop there. The Brahma Bull then went on to make movies in Hollywood. He got his first break in 2001, in the movie “The Mummy Returns,” where he played the role of The Scorpion King. Today, after 22 years of consistent success, The Rock is one of the biggest entities on the planet right now.
Many fans among the WWE Universe wanted to see The Rock face the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, at the showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania 39. However, Cody Rhodes has already been announced as the official opponent for the current Undisputed Universal Champion.
Hence, it is safe to say that The Rock will not be in action at WrestleMania. Although the WWE Universe can see the People’s Champ showing his presence at the Dolby Theatre for the 95th Academic Awards. Dwayne Johnson has been announced as one of the presenters for an Oscar award. The name of the award has not been announced, but it is official that The Rock will be there.

Will Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson ever return to the WWE for one more match?
Cody Rhodes is already announced as Roman Reigns’ opponent at this WrestleMania. It won’t make much sense for The Rock to show up in a different segment. It’s highly unlikely that The Rock would be involved with Roman Reigns in any way. This year’s WrestleMania theme is “Hollywood,” but looking at the busy schedule of The Rock, it looks like the Mega Star of Hollywood will be absent from the show.
WWE Universe has been manifesting Roman Reigns vs. The Rock as the main event of WrestleMania. It looked like it was actually possible this year because of WrestleMania’s theme. However, The People’s Champ didn’t show up. Hence, the fans couldn’t witness this epic bout between the two most successful members of the Samoan Wrestling Dynasty.
SmackDown’s Debut on Fox was the last time the WWE Universe witnessed The Rock in the WWE. It’s been more than three years since the fans have seen The People’s Champ. However, WWE is all about the “Never Say Never” attitude. Similarly, the WWE Universe will also not stop manifesting The Rock vs Roman Reigns unless one of these two icons is officially retired from the WWE.
