This week on Raw, the People’s Champion, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, returned to WWE. His comeback surely changed the landscape of the company. The Brahma Bull had a few interactions with the superstars backstage. One interaction that made headlines was with the Eradicator Rhea Ripley. Now, The Rock has opened up about his backstage interaction with Mami.

The Great One posted a few pictures of the segment backstage with the Women’s World Champion and Cathy Kelley on Instagram. He wrote a heartfelt message about Mami, saying they had fun during their time together backstage. The Hollywood star added a few words of praise for Ripley.

Moreover, Johnson gave a shout-out to Cathy Kelley as well. In essence, The Rock wore the championship of the Eradicator on his shoulder throughout the segment. Therefore, he also extended a thank you to Mami for giving him her title. It has to be noted that The Rock was one of Ripley’s favorite superstars while growing up. Consequently, it was an incredible opportunity for her as well.

The return of the Brahma Bull on Monday Night Raw was an internet-shattering event for WWE. He also called out the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, in his promo, implicitly teasing a match between the two. It was not the one and only appearance of The Rock. He has hinted that he will be making a few more appearances in WWE in the coming months.

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns has been a dream match for many. The two stars are considered some of the best professional wrestlers in the world. After Dwayne implicitly challenged the Head of the Table on Raw, many had one question in mind about the possibility of this mega match.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been no concrete news about this match happening. However, it has been discussed internally. However, the match is in pole position for the main event on the second night of WrestleMania 40.

Furthermore, this match was supposed to take place at WrestleMania 39. However, Vince McMahon and Nick Khan were unable to come up with any creative direction for the battle. Therefore, WWE went for Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns. As for this time, it looks like the match is destined to happen. It is still unclear when and where the match will take place.
