Adam Copeland, better known to WWE fans as the Rated-R Superstar, Edge, just wrestled his final match under his current contract with WWE. Edge has worked in WWE for 25 years and has accomplished almost everything that is possible. It is still unclear if he will continue in the company or not, but a new trailer from Disney+ shows the next plans for the Hall of Famer.

The latest teaser from “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” was released recently, and it features the cast of the show and the challenges they will face during their conquest. The WWE Superstar, Edge, is also seen in one of the shots in the teaser, and therefore, fans are wondering what will be his role on the show.

Edge is seen walking in with a sword in the teaser which led to speculation that the 49-year-old is set to play a fighter. The show is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 20th, and further episodes will be released on a weekly basis. Therefore, it looks like the Rated-R Superstar will be busy for the next few months. According to recent events, Edge’s contract with WWE will expire in September.

Therefore, his match against Sheamus on SmackDown was his last match under his current contract. As the show was taking place in Edge’s hometown of Toronto, he got a huge reception from the audience. His family was also at ringside for the main event, including his wife, Beth Phoenix, and their daughters.

However, the Rated-R superstar has not commented on whether he will accept the contract or not. The situation with the contract is said to be the same even after the match on SmackDown. Therefore, fans will have to wait a little longer for more details about Edge’s decision.
