SPOILER: Massive plans for Edge heading into WrestleMania 39 reportedly revealed
Edge doesn't have much left within himself. The upcoming tenure of the Rated-R Superstar is probably going to be his last one. For this, he'll be willing to capitalize fully on the given opportunity.

Edge is gearing up for what’s most likely to be his last hurrah in WWE. As announced by himself last year, he wants to retire in his hometown of Toronto. So, there isn’t much time left for that. Although it’s hard for anyone to accept the scorching truth, the Rated-R Superstar has lived his dream and can peacefully retire on his terms.
While the WWE Universe still awaits his return, Fightful Select has provided a significant update on Edge’s future plans. According to them, the Master Manipulator will reignite his unfinished saga with The Judgment Day. However, this time around, Beth Phoenix will be there to have his back.
At first, Edge is expected to revert back to his Attitude Era gimmick of Brood to battle Demon Balor at the Royal Rumble. This is being said to unfold inside Hell in a Cell. But this isn’t it. He’s expected to team up with her wife, Beth Phoenix, to take on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley, at Elimination Chamber in February.

When can Edge possibly mark his WWE return?
With the Royal Rumble just under three weeks away, Edge needs to return soon. If he’s really scheduled to wrestle Balor inside Hell in a Cell on January 28th, the creative would surely want to speed up things. The easiest way for the Rated R Superstar to plot his comeback would be to show up on Raw XXX.
On the go-home edition of WWE Raw for the Rumble, the red brand will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Multiple legends are expected to show up to grace the special occasion. On that show, Edge bringing back his demonic Brood persona will be the perfect way to do it.
He can just simply challenge Finn Balor to the above-specified bout. In response, The Judgment Day’s leader may activate his own alter-ego in the form of Demon Balor. The audacity of that imagination is unreal, which is just enough to cause pandemonium throughout the arena.
