Based on how frequently Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley have been interacting on Raw, it has to be the planned direction for the Women’s World title match at WrestleMania 40. Last night on Raw, The Man interrupted Nia Jax‘s promo, where the latter was boasting about how she squashed Lynch on Raw: Day 1.

Becky heard Jax and said that her upset win over Lynch at least gave The Irresistible Force something new to talk about for the next five years. They were cut short by Bayley, who quickly ran into both Becky and Jax. The brawl between those three saw Nia ground Bayley, with Becky Lynch escaping at the right time. Shortly after that tumultuous outing in the ring, Lynch once again crossed paths with Rhea Ripley backstage.

The Eradicator gave Becky a menacing smile and cast some doubt over Big Time Beck’s tall aspirations. Not to forget, the two women traded some ferocious verbal darts last week on Raw as well. Not only that, Becky and Rhea have had numerous altercations over the past few months. During an episode of Raw, the Irishwoman looked down on Ripley’s ongoing title reign.

Lynch vented her frustration, mentioning the paltry number of title defenses Rhea’s had since she won the title at WrestleMania last year. As of now, Becky Lynch is the second-most-favored woman to win this year’s Royal Rumble match, just behind Bayley. If The Man does it again this year, it would make her the first female superstar in history to score a brace in the coveted 30-woman field. But it’s not going to be a walk in the park for her.

The fans are excited for a potential Rhea and Becky showdown down the road. If happens, it could also prove to be a show-stealer in Philly. The WWE Universe has poured in some passionate reactions to the incessant teases happening for the mentioned stars of late.

A fan brought up how Becky’s quest would be quite detrimental to Liv Morgan‘s fans. For the uninitiated, Ripley was the one who put Morgan on the shelf in kayfabe, back in July. Most of the fans are already brimming with excitement for Becky Lynch to take that title off Rhea Ripley.

Some even argued that it’s a rare occasion in the women’s division where a potential title feud is that unpredictable. A guy even pointed out how CM Punk’s return might’ve just precluded Ripley and Lynch from headlining night one of WrestleMania.
