WWE has damaged numerous relationships with superstars over the years. Many talented people have left the organization owing to poor booking throughout their tenure in WWE. Sasha Banks and Naomi, both former WWE Women’s Champions, are recent instances of this.

Sasha Banks and Naomi left the organization in May of this year, and they haven’t been seen in a wrestling ring since then. In his most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shares an update on one of them. Sasha Banks, the Light Boss, is the subject of this update.

Meltzer has indicated that the Boss is done with WWE and will not be returning for the time being. She is asking for too much money and is not worth that much money, which is why WWE is not ready to resign her and neither party is willing to agree on terms anytime soon.

Dave Meltzer’s report stated, “She’s not going back to WWE, but you cannot always rule that out. Maybe they’ll just say ‘She’s more trouble than she’s worth. She’s asking for so much money.’ Which is, of course, the attitude a month ago of ‘Oh my god how can she ask for so much money?’”

Sasha may change her name back to Mercedes Vernado in the ring. She might take this name to some other wrestling companies because there are many of them all over the world and they all want to hire her as their main attraction.

It will be quite interesting to watch where she will settle in the future because AEW maybe will be the first option she would explore. She has many friends there, and they will welcome Sasha as a member of their All-Elite family. If this occurs, it will be outrageous, but she has another firm lined up for her.

NJPW also wants Sasha Banks to be their major attraction or the face of their women’s division, but nothing has been announced as of yet. Fans must wait to see where Mercedes Vernado’s career will lead her and with which organization she will wrestle again.
