There haven’t been enough lucky women to have worked with Trish Stratus. Back in the day, around a couple of decades ago, Stratus was enjoying the prime of her WWE career. Many new arrivals at that juncture just wanted to rise up the ranks using Trish as the stepping stone. One such name who still raves about Canada’s Greatest Export is Gail Kim. For the unversed, she created history after winning Women’s Title in her debut match.

Yesterday on Twitter, Kim responded to a fan who expressed their desire to see her wrestle Trish Stratus one more time. Even though both Kim & Stratus were a part of the same locker room back then, they never squared off in a full-fledged manner. The rare occasion when Kim faced Stratus was September 15th Raw in 2003. The current Impact Wrestling producer teamed up with Molly Holly to outclass Stratus in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Besides that, Kim never got to tango with the 7-time Women’s Champion. And that’s what aches Kim till date. In her reply on Twitter, the 7-time Knockouts Champion mentioned how she told Trish that it’s too unfortunate that they never faced off during each other’s prime. Gail recalled herself as still a rookie when she had her first encounter with The Quintessential WWE Diva.

Trish Stratus has found a new ally on WWE Raw

At WWE Night of Champions last Saturday, Trish Stratus defeated Becky Lynch. However, that victory was a result of an unexpected arrival from Zoey Stark. The latter was recently drafted to Monday Night Raw who took out Lynch outside the ring followed by a Stratusfaction from the Toronto-born legend.

As a result, Becky even suffered a broken nose. Shortly after their match, The Man issued a warning towards the newly formed alliance of Stark & Stratus. The following Monday on Raw, Lynch tried to get some sort of redemption over her enemies. However, the numbers advantage went against former Irish Lass Kicker.

Stark absolutely destroyed Lynch and Trish landed a punch on Becky’s face to complete the callous beatdown. It appears like Stratus’ tutelage has already started to prove worthy for Zoey Stark. The storyline between these women is expected to pick steam over the next few weeks. The endgame still calls for the next singles showdown between Becky Lynch & Trish Stratus.
