One of the most popular matches Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were a part of was their match at WrestleMania XX. The singles match with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee lasted less than 14 minutes. The high-profile match is now revealed to have made a humongous amount.

Speaking on the Grilling JR, Jim Ross revealed that for the match, both the guys earned huge amounts. “For 13 minutes of work they made 250,000 a piece. Quarter million dollars for 13 minutes work, but I don’t know it’s just funny how that stuff works out,” he said.

The match marked a new mark in the lives of many. The WrestleMania XX match between the two stars was their last before they went on a long break from WWE. Fans were not happy with both Brock Lesnar and Goldberg leaving the ring. However, Steve Austin received much of the audience’s support during the match and the fans approved of the Stone Cold Stunners which he landed on Goldberg as well as Lesnar after the match.

Talking about the crowd reaction that happened at WrestleMania XX, Jim Ross wasn’t very happy with the way things went. He also added that Vince McMahon is to be held responsible for Brock Lesnar’s decision to leave the company. He added that Vince didn’t know how to handle Brock. 

Brock has been full of anger and aggression since he entered the gates of WWE. His UFC run had been commendable and the changing of companies caused a lot of problems in his life too. He wanted to leave WWE as soon as possible and didn’t want to get inside the ring.
