Update on CM Punk’s Tricep Injury Amid Stone Cold WrestleMania Match Rumors

CM Punk feels pretty much synonymous with some newsworthy stuff. His track records haven’t been great, to be honest. We know what happened post-AEW All Out media scrum. After weeks of backstage turmoil, we’ve reached a point where Punk’s wrestling journey seems uncertain.
His so-called rivals The Elite, who eventually opposed Punk to spark off the backstage controversy have returned to AEW television. Just to mention, it was Punk who invited catastrophe on his own, after calling out his former bestie, Colt Cabana. However, amidst the hassle, CM Punk’s torn tricep injury got undermined. But we have an update on that now.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Punk’s healing rapidly over the torn tricep. He last wrestled against Jon Moxley at All Out PPV. Following the match, the Wizard MJF made his emphatic return to amass a deafening crowd reaction. However, a potential Punk/MJF feud revisit couldn’t happen then.
Currently, the former 2-time AEW World Champion is serving his suspension period with AEW. So being so to his alleged role of being the “Initiator” in that behind-the-scenes melee against The Elite. There were even talks of a contract to buy-out for Punk. However that seems on hold right now.

Is CM Punk returning to face “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at Wrestlemania?

Once his AEW departure talks spread online, fans amplified their hopes for his WWE return. Despite his troubled past with WWE, nothing is impossible. Triple H has already stated that he’s always open for business and won’t run away from having a conversation with Punk.
Just manifesting everything goes per the fantasy, CM Punk makes his miraculous WWE return, then what? He’s said to get involved with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at WrestleMania 39. Dave Meltzer recently noted how it’s “all smoke” regarding Austin’s Mania plans.

If the unthinkable really happens, WWE would be fool enough not to lock these superstars in the ring together. They had some interactions in the past too, however they never got a hold.
