WWE veteran Jim Ross recently made headlines when he spoke out about the use of marijuana in the professional wrestling world. Ross, who has been involved in the industry for over 40 years, revealed that he believes a lot of wrestlers in WWE use marijuana, and that the substance is not as harmful as many people believe.

In his podcast Grilling Jr, Ross stated that he has known many wrestlers who have used marijuana over the years in WWE and that he doesn’t see it as a major problem. “A lot of guys in WWE we’re smoking weed, and I’m not saying that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I’m just saying it was part of the culture,” he said.

Ross went on to argue that marijuana is less harmful than many other substances that are commonly used in the wrestling world. “I’ve known a lot of guys who have had drug and alcohol problems, and they’re not here anymore. But I’ve never known anybody to have a marijuana problem,” he said.

In the past, many wrestlers have suffered due to substance abuse and their careers drowned due to the same reason. “I think there’s a place for marijuana in our society, and certainly in professional wrestling,” he said. Some fans believe that using substances or drugs will surely deteriorate wrestlers’ health. Whereas many believe this will help them to increase their in-ring performance and their presence of mind. Though everyone has their own opinions, still Jim Ross’ statements are something to think over.
