Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory during their time at NXT
Johnny Gargano has been having a great time in WWE since his comeback in August of this year. Gargano has been involved in a rivalry with his former ally Austin Theory since his comeback, and the two recently fought against each other on an edition of RAW, where Gargano defeated Austin Theory by delivering his signature slingshot DDT at the climax to secure the win.
This past week on RAW, Gargano appeared to be warning The Miz regarding Dexter Lumis, as Gargano has experience with Lumis during his days at NXT. The Miz then said that he would be beating Lumis the following night, and after he finishes the business with Lumis, he would be settling scores with Gargano too.
It is not known whether Austin Theory or Johnny Gargano will appear on RAW this week or not, but according to PWInsider, Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory are set to appear on SmackDown this coming week.
The former NXT Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank are scheduled to face each other in a dark match on the roster. The feud between the two doesn’t seem to have culminated as we didn’t see Theory after his loss to Gargano on the October 10th edition of RAW.

Johnny Gargano doesn’t want to be with the former WWE Champion on a desert island
During a recent Q & A session on Tik Tok, Johnny Gargano answered some questions, one of which was which WWE star he’d least want to be on a desert island with, to which Gargano replied, “Brock Lesnar“. He stated that if he and Brock Lesnar were stranded on a desert island for a few days, Lesnar would seek him out, destroy him, and devour him.
Gargano stated that there was nothing he could do because Lesnar is our species’ Alpha Male. Gargano likened the circumstance to being trapped on an island with a Tyrannosaurus Rex. On the other hand, Gargano named his wife Candice LeRae as the WWE star he’d want to be on a desert island with.
One of the reasons Johnny Gargano returned to the WWE is because he wants to win multiple championships in the company. He has said that he wants to avoid regretting not trying to win championships in the WWE in the future.
