Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Tommaso Ciampa’s fan moment was just one example of the Undertaker’s legacy being passed on. Almost all the other names in the WWE remain unsung for the love and respect they have for the legend. Another superstar got to the headlines when he talked about the impact that the Undertaker had on him.

He was no other than the former WWE Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre, speaking on Sports Illustrated, once opened up on the mentorship he got from The Undertaker. Vince McMahon assigned the role to him and following his responsibilities, The Deadman told McIntyre, “Don’t play the wrestler. Be the wrestler“.

Drew at that time did not understand what was going on. “Now, almost 15 years later, I have a much different appreciation for his lessons. I know who I am every time I step out there, and I know what I’m aiming for,” said Drew McIntyre. A big portion of the budding artist’s success goes to the Undertaker for leaving trails for the new generation to follow.
