“How special of a talent he is,” Kevin Owens lavishes praise on Former Intercontinental Champion
Kevin Owens has been a world champion once in the WWE. However, he hasn't been a tag-team champion in his WWE career. Owens has now heaped praise on a Bloodline member.

Kevin Owens is set to fight Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble on Saturday. This is one of the biggest opportunities of his lifetime. Owens has fought Roman Reigns thrice for the championship during Reigns’ historic title reign. This will be the fourth time that Roman Reigns is set to defend his Undisputed World Championship against Kevin Owens.
Overall, Kevin Owens is the Tribal Chief’s 26th opponent during his phenomenal championship reign. Owens’ third encounter against Reigns also happened to be at the 2021 Royal Rumble. He hasn’t been victorious at any of the three encounters, and no one feels that he will win for the fourth time.
With Sami Zayn and the Bloodline’s relationship showing cracks, fans can expect to see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as a tag team soon. The Prizefighter and The Honorary Uce have won several tag team championships outside of WWE. The two men have even fought against each other and as a team in the WWE, but they have never won the tag team championships.
Both men are close friends in real life. Kevin Owens lavished praise on Sami Zayn in a recent interview with the San Antonio Express-News. He claimed that Sami Zayn possesses a unique talent and that it has taken him some time to show it to the world.
“(His success) is no surprise to me. I’ve known how good (Zayn) was and how special of a talent he is for 20 years now, it just took a while for him to get into a situation where he can showcase just how good he is to the world.”
Kevin Owens revealed that he has changed his mindset towards wrestling
During a recent interview with WrestleRant, Kevin Owens spoke about his current mindset towards wrestling. He stated that he always used to worry about what was next for him, but now he doesn’t want to do that.
Owens said that he has missed out on enjoying some of the moments in his career and doesn’t want to miss them in the future. He said that he has had an incredible career and wants to enjoy it from here on.
“I’ve said in interviews in the past, I’ve missed out on enjoying moments I really should have enjoyed because I was always worried about what’s next. I’m not gonna do that anymore…..My mindset’s definitely shifted, but I think this one’s a lot healthier. It’s probably gonna help me be a better performer as well.”
Kevin Owens has been a one-time world champion but has never won it again since losing it in 2017. The start of the year has been great for The Prizefighter, and it seems that he will become the World Champion again this year.
