Since Triple H took control of the on-screen product in July, he turned the tide and hit the reset button for WWE. That was the reason some Vince released wrestlers made their way back to the company. The Good Brothers were part of the list of superstars last year that returned to WWE. They were released by the company in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, and made their return after two years. And according to some new reports, they are here to stay.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently revealed that he has learned new details about the former tag team champions’ contracts. When asked about the length of their contracts, sources told him that they had signed a longer deal than other talents. While most of the deals are three-year ones, the Good Brothers have signed a five-year contract, expiring in 2027.

When asked about why the deals for the OC members were longer, the Fightful reported that “one higher-up said that Triple H had helped negotiate their decision in 2019 to stay with the company over AEW, NJPW, and IMPACT, and felt badly that they were released prematurely.” Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are currently 39 and 43 years old, respectively. Hence, this contract could very well be the last of their pro wrestling careers. That is, if they are not released before the end of their contract, as they were previously.

After reforming the OC with AJ Styles, the trio went on to feud with Judgment Day. This resulted in a six-man tag match between the two factions at Crown Jewel. The Judgment Day came out victorious at the day’s end with the help of Rhea Ripley. Seeing they were at a disadvantage, OC later recruited Mia Yim to even the numbers. Unfortunately, this momentum from the former tag team champions came to a halt when Styles suffered an injury. The Phenomenal One broke his ankle at a live event in Pennsylvania in December. The former WWE champion broke the news on Twitter and revealed that it would be the longest time he has been out of action.

Since then, the Good Brothers haven’t featured in any other prominent matches on WWE TV. However, Karl Anderson did go to NJPW to defend his NEVER Openweight title at Wrestle Kingdom 17. This was the first time that an active WWE superstar competed in New Japan’s biggest event. Since AJ Styles will be out of action for quite some time, it seems his Good Brothers don’t have any plans either. Nonetheless, given their long tenure in WWE, there is no doubt they have multiple tag title reigns left in them.
