At one point, dark clouds were looming over Liv Morgan when she was detained for possession of marijuana. However, the most heinous charge of them all, keeping hold of synthetic cannabinoids, was dropped last month as the State of Florida couldn’t prove it. And now, as per PWInsider, Morgan’s case in Sumter County has officially been closed.
That’s so because Morgan’s attorney entered a plea of Nolo-Contendere regarding her remaining charges. The report further states that the WWE Superstar had to pay a fine of $543. The terms on which she was arrested—the possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams)—is adjudged a first-degree demeanor in Florida.

Back when Morgan was taken into custody, her fans thought she would garner backstage heat in WWE. However, she did not catch any. And at this year’s Royal Rumble, the former Riott Squad member made her return from the injury she sustained in July. Liv was the final entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and also made it to the last three.
She, Bayley, and Jade Cargill were fighting to clinch that elusive WrestleMania berth. During the closing moments, Morgan and Cargill were at the edge of the ring. Surprisingly, Morgan eliminated Jade, and it was between her and Bayley. For two years, Liv Morgan became the woman to be thrown out last. In 2023, it was Rhea Ripley who ousted Liv, and this year, she couldn’t hold on and saw her dreams splintered, courtesy of Bayley.
Liv Morgan has her sights set on Rhea Ripley
This week on Raw, Morgan was interviewed backstage. Upon being asked about her immediate future, she had vengeance on her mind. As the fans know, in kayfabe, it was Rhea Ripley who orchestrated a brutal assault on Liv back in July on Raw.

Taking that into account, the real-life Gionna Daddio said that she’s coming for Mami next week. Moreover, this coming Monday, she has an important matchup lined up. Morgan will go one-on-one with Zoey Stark in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
If Liv does pip Stark, she’ll join Becky Lynch inside that sadistic structure in Perth later this month. The WWE Universe is hoping for a singles match between Morgan and Ripley down the line. It would be interesting to see whether it happens at WrestleMania or on a random episode of Raw.
