Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson gave the WWE Universe a surprise with his return earlier this month. The 51-year-old showed up on the September 15 episode of SmackDown. Following his return, there were numerous speculations about his first match after nearly ten years in the squared circle.
WWE recently announced that next year’s Elimination Chamber will take place in Perth, Australia. Following the billion-dollar merger of the Stamford-based promotion with the UFC, WWE looks to expand its fan base. Amidst the SAG-AFTRA strike, names such as John Cena and The Rock returned to the company.
The ongoing strike in Hollywood is set to have an amicable settlement. With the tentative agreement signed between the writers and the studios, the possibility of these stars’ calendars being busy is high. Trying to capitalize on the situation, WWE might play its cards to make the Brahma Bull wrestle in Australia.
WrestleMania’s recent post on X hinted at Dwayne Johnson’s potential appearance at Elimination Chamber, stating, “The Rock is rumored to be working WWE Elimination Chamber.” This speculation stemmed from The West Australian’s comments, suggesting that WWE’s recent sale to Endeavor, which also owns the UFC, aims for a spectacular WrestleMania under new ownership.
Rumors suggest The Rock may wrestle at Elimination Chamber in Perth in February, aligning with his WrestleMania plans, possibly facing Roman Reigns later. On The Pat McAfee Show, The Rock confirmed his readiness for a ring return. He revealed calling off a previous comeback attempt due to his inability to find a universally satisfying plan.
Grayson Waller warns The Rock to not show up in Australia
Grayson Waller often runs his mouth on social media as he entertains his fans with constant tweets. He had a few encounters with The Rock on X. After his debut match at Madison Square Garden, he tweeted that he had the biggest debut in that arena, which was even bigger than that of The Great One.

Following the rumors of The People’s Champ wrestling in Australia and the tentative agreement between the studios and writers, Grayson Waller ignited his rift with the Hollywood star. Waller took to X to say, “Don’t be silly and try to come to Australia Dwayne, we want you to be healthy in April.”
The Arrogant Aussie once again took a shot at The Rock amid rumors of his appearance at Elimination Chamber in Australia. Waller also implicitly hinted at the 51-year-old’s appearance at WrestleMania 40. Needless to say, the Aussie Icon has never missed an opportunity to mock big names in WWE. Since his debut on the main roster, the 33-year-old has encountered the likes of Rey Mysterio, Edge, and Cody Rhodes.
