On December 14 of last year, Mandy Rose was surprisingly released by the WWE. She was released following the end of her impressive 413-day NXT championship reign. Mandy was defeated by Roxxane Perez, who ended her long title reign. The reason for Mandy’s release was reported to be WWE officials not being happy with the explicit content on her OnlyFans account. The officials felt that the content posted was outside the parameters of her contract.

Prior to her release, Mandy Rose was enjoying possibly the best run of her career. Along with her title reign, she also had an alliance with the current NXT wrestlers Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. The alliance was known as “Toxic Attraction” and pretty much dominated the NXT women’s division. In her recent tweet, Mandy appreciated her former NXT faction members despite her exit from the company. She wrote, “Proud of my girls,” with an emotional emoji.

The tweet came after the incredible performance by Gigi and Jayne in the NXT women’s championship match at NXT Vengeance Day. The two were involved in a triple-threat match with the current NXT women’s champion, Roxxane Perez. Both former partners of Mandy suffered a defeat in the match as Roxxane retained the title in spectacular fashion.

The triple-threat match was one of the best matches of the night last Saturday. Even after the loss, both Gigi and Jayne deserve praise for their outstanding performance in pursuit of the NXT women’s championship. Both women have also been the NXT women’s tag team champions while being members of Toxic Attraction with Mandy.

Back in 2015, Mandy Rose took part in the WWE‘s reality competition show “Tough Enough,” in which she was the runner-up. Following a brief NXT run, Rose made her main roster debut in 2017 as a member of the faction “Absolution,” alongside Paige and Sonya Deville. The group was portrayed as a dominant and powerful trio, and they feuded with several of WWE’s top female stars.

After Absolution disbanded, Rose teamed up with Sonya Deville to form a tag team called “Fire and Desire.” Mandy was also involved in a love-angle storyline with Otis and Dolph Ziggler. After their separation, Sonya and Mandy had their own feud, which ended with Rose winning the “Loser Leaves WWE” stipulated match. Later on, she returned to NXT after a brief association with Dana Brooke.

At NXT Halloween Havoc back in October 2021, Rose defeated Raquel Rodriguez to win the NXT women’s championship. The title reign went on for 413 days, during which Rose dominated the entire NXT women’s division. She lost the title just before her release in December last year.
