Becky Lynch has been on fire since defeating Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage match at Payback. She added to her accolades by winning the NXT Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton. Their rematch at No Mercy was a brutal Extreme Rules encounter, with Becky emerging victorious after a grueling battle that ended with her slamming Stratton onto a pile of steel chairs.
Despite successfully defending her title, Becky Lynch suffered a laceration to her arm during the match, requiring 11 stitches. However, reports indicate that this injury won’t keep her out of action for long. Lynch will defend her title against Tegan Nox on the upcoming episode of Raw.
Becky has openly expressed her desire to work with a plethora of upstarts. In recent weeks, she has seemingly ignited a much-needed fire inside The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard. If everything goes as planned and The Man’s bruises don’t force her to bail out, Lynch vs. Nox is going to be a humper. It’s been a long time coming for Nox, as she would love to make a name for herself at Becky’s expense.
Needless to say, Becky Lynch has been unstoppable. She has gained momentum after falling off a bit while feuding with Trish Stratus. The former Irish Lass Kicker was visibly upset after WWE left her off SummerSlam. However, things seem to be back on track for Lynch. It would be interesting to see how far she goes as the NXT Women’s Champion.
Tiffany Stratton boasts her incredible performance against Becky Lynch
Despite losing the night, Tiffany Stratton won hearts. She once again proved why the streets have dubbed her the future of WWE’s women’s division. After coming up short against Becky Lynch at No Mercy, Stratton took to her Instagram and was seemingly proud of herself.
She explained how she proved her doubters wrong and put up one hell of a performance against Becky, who put her best foot forward in Bakersfield. Stratton affirmed that she was here to stay for a long time, and fans would see her at the main event of WrestleMania one day. And why not? She’s one of the most athletic performers WWE currently has, and her in-ring prowess is just poetry in motion.
As far as her vocals are concerned, she is getting comfortable in that department as well. Tiffany has grown leaps and bounds under the tutelage of Shawn Michaels. There’s no word on when WWE will promote her to the main roster; however, that might be quick.
