Imperium member Giovanni Vinci was going through a rough phase for a few weeks with his tag team partner Ludwig Kaiser. They fought the pair of Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston on last week’s edition of Raw. Unfortunately, the match came to an abrupt end as Vinci was knocked out while performing a move with Kofi. 

Veteran commentator Michael Cole announced during the latest episode that Vinci would be out for a number of weeks after suffering the scary injury. The 33-year-old took to X, shared a tweet saying he was fine, and thanked the fans.

However, Kaiser took revenge on The New Day member and gave a devastating kick to his skull using the steel steps. Kofi had to be carried out with the help of the medical staff after a ferocious attack from Kaiser. He was frustrated backstage, as he had to take the burden of the whole Imperium alone.

More chaos will ensue, as WWE recently announced that Gunther will return on next week’s episode of Raw. It will be interesting to see how he will react to Vinci’s injury and Kaiser’s vicious attack on Kofi.

Giovanni Vinci’s teammate Ludwig Kaiser sent a message on social media after Raw

After Giovanni Vinci suffered a scary injury on last week’s edition of Raw, his Imperium teammate Ludwig Kaiser took revenge. He viciously attacked Kofi Kingston after their match ended via a double countout.

Kaiser took to X and replied to the post of TNT Sports with the caption ‘revenge’. After the attack, he further said that Kofi had it coming as revenge for what he did to Vinci. The 32-year-old star showed a more ruthless side to his character.

As of now, there is no update on The New Day member’s health. It will be interesting to see what Kofi’s next step will be after suffering a brutal onslaught. One thing is for sure: the attack on the veteran will escalate the rivalry between Imperium and him even more.
