“A panic attack,” AEW World Champion MJF makes harsh comments on WWE Hall of Famer’s promo skills
One of the best heels in the business, MJF stayed true to his character and berates a legendary WWE wrestler while describing his work on the mic.

The AEW World Heavyweight Champion, MJF is known for his rude and controversial promos. His mic work is considered one of the best in the business. The Long Island Native never shies to boast about him and takes shots at legends whenever he can. Likewise, the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg became the latest target of the Devil.
The Salt of the Earth made an appearance on the podcast WTF with Marc Mero, where he talked about his world title reign. This is where he also took a dig at the fellow Jewish wrestler Goldberg. MJF said, “if you think about it, I’m really the first prolific world champion that just so happens to be Jewish in the history of the business that is good at talking and wrestling. [I] love Bill Goldberg to death, but [if] you put a mic in front of his mouth, he kind of has a bit of a panic attack.”
After the recent episode of Dynamite, MJF’s next title defense became official. The Devil will take on Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution in a 60-minute Iron man match. The American Dragon has competed on Dynamite every week this year and hasn’t lost a single match. MJF has shown great caliber in the ring, recently defeating Konosuke Takeshita in an amazing match. Hence, all the AEW fans are eager to see two of their top wrestlers go up against each other on March 5th.
Goldberg didn’t sign a new deal with WWE

Last year, rumors started to float around that Goldberg signed a new two-year deal with WWE. However, these rumors were soon killed by Fightful Select. Sean Ross Sapp reported that 2022 was the last year of Goldberg’s current WWE contract and he hasn’t agreed to any new deals. As a result, the WCW legend is currently a free agent. Nonetheless, the five-time world champion is a huge star in the industry and would require some big bucks to make an appearance at their shows. And there is only one company that can compete with WWE in that department. It is none other than the promotion run by the Billionaire Tony Khan, AEW.
If Bill Goldberg does make an appearance in the rival promotion, it would be one of the biggest moments in AEW’s history. The recent remarks made by MJF would also make it an awkward encounter between the two if they ever meet. Currently, it seems unlikely that the WWE Hall of Famer would agree to a deal with any other company, but you can never say never in this business.
