“I’m grateful for all of our women” when Naomi shared her thoughts on Women main eventing Wrestlemania

Naomi is a former Smackdown Women's Champion
Trinity Fatu popularly known as Naomi is a former Florida Championship Wrestling’s Divas Champion who currently works for WWE. Naomi in a bid to become a professional wrestler signed with WWE in 2009 under a developmental contract. The contract saw her move to the then developmental territory of Florida Wrestling Championship. In 2010 on FCW TV she defeated Serena Deeb to be crowned as the inaugural FCW Divas Champion. Later Naomi joined NXT season 3 where her mentor was Kelly Kelly, Naomi would end the season in 2nd place losing to Katilyn.
Naomi made her main roster debut in 2012 as valet for Brodus Clay. In the same year she won the a battle royal to determine the number contender for Divas Championship. Naomi challenged Eve Torres in a losing cause. Naomi was an integral part of the women’s revolution in WWE as she was paired with Sasha Banks and Tamina to form Team B.A.D . After a short while she was drafted to Smackdown as a part of the WWE’s 2016 draft, where she was a part of the six-pack elimination challenge to determine the Smackdown Women’s Champion which she went on to lose.

Naomi and Sasha Banks recently walked out of WWE

Naomi after a three month absence came back and challenged then champion Alexa Bliss to a match for the title. At the Elimination Chamber pay per view she defeated Bliss to become the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion for the first time in her career.
She was an integral part of the women’s revolution in WWE. The Women’s revolution was a turning point in the WWE’s history as it was a catalyst in women headlining Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania 35 Becky Lynch , Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair main evented Wrestlemania which was the first time in the company’s history. The Former Smackdown Women’s Champion who wasn’t the part of the match but had a lot to say about the significance of the match in an interview with Gorilla Position :
“I am just grateful and I’m grateful for all of our women. For them to be where they are, they deserve it and I’m glad, super happy for Becky. Seeing her position a year ago and be on the pre-show to now, seeing her literally work her way up that card, is truly inspiring.”
Naomi also shared her thoughts about her long time friend Becky Lynch in the same interview:
“I have personally seen her at her lowest and at her highest. So this, being her highest, I’m extremely proud of her. I’m extremely happy for her. I don’t think anybody else deserves it more than her right now. “
Becky Lynch went on to win the match becoming Becky Two Belts in the process. Naomi recently won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Sasha Banks but decided to walk out of the company owing to creative differences.
