Pat McAfee accuses top WWE official of being an “embarrassment” after failing to stop Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch brawl on Raw

The rivalry between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch is getting heated up day by day. For weeks, they had been quite vocal about each other, but last week, things went physical. As a result, WWE called for security this week to ensure the rivalry doesn’t get more intense. But somehow, they failed miserably as both Ripley and Lynch brawled around the arena.
Since the Stamford-based promotion has freshened up the production team, Pat McAfee has been having lots of fun lately. Recently, he took to X to show how Adam Pearce failed in his job to keep Mami and The Man away from each other. Moreover, he called him an embarrassment as well as a middle management official while taking shots at him.

McAfee overexaggerated the number of security personnel to be around 16 in total while claiming that Ripley easily fought off every one of them. The Eradicator handed the title to the Raw GM to become a one-woman wrecking crew by making her way to Lynch to hand her a bombardment. Big Time Becks didn’t back down, going for a high-risk move and landing on Ripley and the security.
Throughout the majority of 2024 until now, both Becky Lynch and Ripley have been facing off to build towards their marquee match. Whether it comes to an exchange of blows or taking shots at each other, both rivals do not back down from a showdown. Needless to say, the score between the two will be finally settled this weekend at WrestleMania XL.
Pat McAfee showers praise on SmackDown’s lead commentator Corey Graves
Throughout the majority of his career, Corey Graves has worked under the guidance of Michael Cole. Recently, WWE changed the commentary teams on both brands. Cole was brought to Raw to be paired with Pat McAfee. Meanwhile, Graves would become the lead commentator on the blue brand alongside Wade Barrett.
Wrestle Features on X asked how well the 40-year-old is handling the leading job on SmackDown. McAfee replied, stating that the wrestler-turned-commentator is doing the job “phenomenally.” The former football punter emphasized how well Graves has been on the microphone.
The praise by the 36-year-old comes as a surprise since the two commentators absolutely hate each other. For two years in a row, the sports analyst returned to join the commentary desk at Royal Rumble for play-by-play commentary. Both times, while Cole rejoiced his best friend’s arrival, the heel commentator always called it a day upon seeing McAfee.
