Rey Mysterio got matching tattoos with the 32-year-old female superstar before WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and all the members of LWO got matching tattoos ahead of WWE Backlash that stand as an embodiment of their love and bond.

Rey Mysterio is considered to be among the greatest legends in WWE history. He has been a part of LWO along with some of the young superstars in WWE. Zelina Vega, who is a part of the faction, recently talked about her bond with the Hall of Famer. She revealed that the members of LWO got matching tattoos before their performance at Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Zelina Vega became a part of the reintroduced Latino World Order along with Legado Del Fantasma and Rey Mysterio. She wrestled Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in Puerto Rico at Backlash to a thunderous reaction. The crowd chanted for her throughout the match because Vega is originally from Puerto Rico. Despite losing the match against Ripley, she received a standing ovation from the crowd.
While talking on Superstar Crossover, Vega spoke about her time with the WWE Hall of Famer. She said it was a dream come true for her to team up with Mysterio for a match on SmackDown before Backlash. At the time, they did not know Vega would be having the time of her life later in the night. All the members of LWO got matching tattoos on their arms.
The 32-year-old added, “And then you’re getting matching tattoos with him later that night. And then having that moment Saturday, it was just everything I think eight-year-old me could possibly want in her life.”
Zelina Vega revealed that she still cannot believe that she shares matching tattoos with Rey Mysterio. She was grateful for every moment that she enjoyed with her childhood hero while performing in Puerto Rico. Vega has emerged as a fan favorite after joining the Latino World Order.
Rey Mysterio wrestles Roman Reigns at a house show
Since defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns has not defended his WWE Universal Championship. His main focus was on the internal drama going on among the members of The Bloodline. Because of the family feud, Reigns did not defend his title at all.
However, Roman Reigns wrestled in a singles match at a recent house show after a long time. He battled Rey Mysterio in a Universal Championship match. The match was full of interruptions and distractions, as The Usos attacked Solo Sikoa, who had accompanied Reigns during the match. Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio, also went to the ring and attacked Rey.
After all the chaos in the ring, Roman Reigns would eventually retain the title against the Hall of Famer. This was his first title defense on a house show in months. It was reported that Reigns will return to making regular appearances on the house show in the summer.
