“I’m waiting for that day,” Rhea Ripley counting the days to step in that ring with former AEW Superstar who’s touted as WWE’s biggest free agent signing in years

There are a handful of women who could garner the audacity to face Rhea Ripley at the moment. Though her title reign as the Women’s World Champion has been dismal, Ripley has continuously evolved her character. For Mami, the sky is the limit in WWE, and she’s got years ahead of her. There are a ton of dream matches the Aussie stalwart could have, and she talked about one quite recently.

Speaking to Sporting News Australia, the 27-year-old brought up Jade Cargill. Ever since the latter signed with WWE, she’s been the talk of the town. On the expected lines, Rhea Ripley lauded the former AEW TBS Champion for being the star she is. The Judgment Day member emphasized how Jade believes in herself, and that’s what matters the most. Ripley spoke at length, saying that she couldn’t wait to get in that ring with Jade Cargill.

“I have watched bits and pieces of her from her time in the other brand, in the other company, and she is fantastic. I’m waiting for that day that I do get to step in the ring with her. I think it’s gonna be a very exciting match and just to have someone that’s so physically impressive across the ring from me, it excites me,” said Ripley.

A few days ago, it was reported that Cargill would begin her WWE journey as part of the Raw brand. She made her first on-screen appearance at Fastlane where Triple H greeted her. Then, the 31-year-old showed up on NXT, followed up by a backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair on SmackDown this week. If Jade does debut on the red brand, she will eventually enter Rhea Ripley’s territory, and they will collide.

Rhea Ripley to face a familiar foe on Raw this week

Since returning to Raw a couple of weeks ago, Rhea Ripley has been a changed woman. Someone has lit a fire inside her, and she wants to set the women’s division right. Tomorrow night, on the Season Premiere of Monday Night Raw, The Eradicator will go one-on-one with Shayna Baszler. Now that sounds like one hell of a match. Last week, both Baszler and Ripley were in a brawl alongside Nia Jax and Raquel Rodriguez.

Though each woman is vying for that Women’s World Championship, Baszler and Ripley seem to be the driving forces behind this high-octane feud. Previously, The Queen of Spades tormented Rhea Ripley on Raw and left her unconscious after a vicious knee strike. For sure, Mami is upset, and she hopes to return the favor to Baszler tomorrow.

Both women are not new to each other, as they crossed paths during their time in NXT. However, it’s different altogether at the moment. While Rhea Ripley is operating on a different level, Shayna Baszler is still figuring out her right footing on the main roster.
