Rhea Ripley after WWE SmackDown [via- Steve Fall on X]
A night before her title defense at Survivor Series, Rhea Ripley journeyed to SmackDown. On the show, she accompanied her Judgment Day boys, Finn Balor and Damian Priest. They successfully defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. After the match, Mami picked up Ford’s sunglasses and mocked him savagely. Her duty wasn’t limited until then.
After the show went off camera, she defended her Women’s World title against Raquel Rodriguez. In the end, The Eradicator didn’t break much sweat to retain her gold. Her Latino Heat, Dominik Mysterio, was there to raise Mami’s hand high alongside JD McDonagh. Needless to say, it was a pretty satiating way to cap off Thanksgiving weekend for The Judgment Day.
In just 24 hours, Rhea Ripley’s teammates will go through the sadistic structure known as WarGames. Everything was going well for The Judgment Day until Randy Orton was brought in to combat their menacing tactics by Cody Rhodes. Apart from The Viper’s tantalizing WWE comeback, fans have been clamoring to see a faceoff between him and Rhea Ripley. In the recent past, The Eradicator has tormented some superstars of her opposite gend*r.
Having said that, it would be interesting to see if Ripley continues to wreak havoc, this time on the 14-time World Champion. But she needs to remember that Randy Orton is not like the rest of the pack. He would not hesitate to deliver an RKO on her if she tried to incite the Legend Killer. Orton has had a history of treating his fellow superstars as equals, be they men or women.
Rhea Ripley has a task in hand at Survivor Series
One thing that Rhea Ripley might be taking the wrong way is her title defense tomorrow night. She’s set to go one-on-one with Zoey Stark, with the Women’s World Championship up for grabs. In recent weeks, Stark has tried to relay the word that Rhea might be too busy with The Judgment Day business.
And for what it’s worth, it could be the difference maker in Chicago. Zoey had won this opportunity after she outclassed several women during a Battle Royal on Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago. She would not want to squander it by any means.
The odds heavily favor the champion, but that doesn’t mean Zoey Stark should not bet on herself. If she could take Rhea Ripley deep into the match, Zoey would eventually give herself a good chance to take that title off Mami.
