The partnership between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio for the past few months has been very much peculiar and interesting at the same time. Nonetheless, the two of them have come a long way, totally shifting their characters as they joined the Judgment Day last year. Now, The Eradicator has reflected on what she thinks of her on-screen love interest.
While in an interview with TV Insider, the 2023 Royal Rumble winner primarily gave insights into her upcoming WrestleMania match. However, Rhea Ripley was also asked about the chemistry between her and Dominik Mysterio. In response, Ripley gave her fellow Judgment Day member his due credit, tracking his evolution since he joined the group.
Rhea Ripley said, “A lot of times we go out there and do things we feel like doing. Yes, WWE is scripted to a certain point, but a lot of time we are improvising. Some of the things Dom says literally make me laugh so hard. People don’t give him enough credit. He has come so far in the last couple of years and grown so much, not only as a human but as a performer. It has been really fun to watch.”
Both Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio have big matches lined up for WrestleMania. The Eradicator is going to step foot at the Grandest Stage of Them All, potentially main-eventing Night 1, against Charlotte Flair. On the other hand, Dominik will take on his legendary father Rey Mysterio as confirmed this past Friday on SmackDown.

Rhea Ripley reveals what she learned from Triple H and Vince McMahon

In the interview, the 26-year-old superstar also revealed the difference she felt working under Triple H as compared to Vince McMahon. In addition, Rhea Ripley also talked about the key learnings she took away from both of them. The former Raw women’s champion actually had no bad words to say about her employers and praised both of their bookings.
On Triple H, Rhea Ripley said, “With Triple H, I built up my self-confidence, going out there and being true to myself. Reacting to things on the spot as I would and not just doing it to please people. I also learned about cameras and positioning and all the stuff people don’t think about. Presenting myself in a way that I am bigger than life…That if I don’t believe I’m the best thing there, nobody else will.”
Comparing this to Vince McMahon, she said, “When I went to Raw and Vince was in charge the one thing I learned most was to be ready for anything. Be prepared 24/7 because things change so rapidly. It was sink or swim. Lucky for me I definitely kept my head afloat and swam.” The former NXT women’s champion has worked a significant time with both of her employers. Hence she has a well-informed opinion on their booking strategies and backstage management.
