Rhea Ripley is one of the most dominant superstars in the WWE. The Women’s World Champion has broken a lot of barriers over the past year or so. Therefore, fans have always anticipated a dream match between her and Becky Lynch. Indeed, both women are arguably the top talent in the women’s division. Recently, Rhea Ripley spoke about the prospect of a future encounter with Lynch.

In an interview with India Today, the Eradicator was optimistic on the possibility of a match with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40. First, she heaped praise on the former Women’s Champion. “She’s accomplished so much. She’s going down in history, as one of the best. And she will 110 percent be in the Hall of Fame one day. She really has made her own legacy,” claimed Rhea.

Furthermore, she pointed out how the Four Horsewomen—Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley— made a name for themselves. However, the Judgment Day member believes that stepping into the ring with her is a different challenge for any competitor. “And if it were to be myself and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, you know, I, I invite that challenge,” she added.

Thus, Rhea Ripley has no fear of facing Becky Lynch in a possible match at next year’s WrestleMania. As a matter of fact, early rumors have speculated that this is the direction WWE is headed. Moreover, a marquee bout such as this has the potential to be the main event of Night 1 of The Showcase of the Immortals.

After WrestleMania 38, Edge joined forces with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to form the Judgment Day. Fast forward a year and a half later, and they are arguably the most dominant faction in the WWE. However, the creator of the group was removed by his own disciples, with Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio added.

While speaking with India Today, Rhea revealed that Edge was one of her childhood heroes. Furthermore, she mentioned that the Rated-R superstar brought out a different side of her. “So it was really cool to then fast forward into the future and be in a faction with Edge, where he recruited me,” the Eradicator said.

Ripley also talked about wrestling against Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix. “It was cool to then feud with him and be in the ring with him and even Beth Phoenix, someone that I had wanted to face for the longest time,” claimed the Women’s World Champion. All in all, she made use of her in-ring time with the Hall of Fame couple.
