WWE has been changed forever. With the ongoing strong rumors of company’s sale to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, massive implications are coming. Vince McMahon is the ultimate winner after all and he has succeeded in regaining back his then-vacated throne. And of course, Stephanie McMahon has officially resigned in all sorts from WWE, leaving Nick Khan as the sole CEO of WWE.
The truth is, nothing can’t be reversed now. There’s an insane outrage among everyone after this decision. Only time is the real foreseer here and by general consensus, things will worsen in days to come. However, let’s dig into what Ric Flair had to say on Vince McMahon’s return, certainly before the aforementioned shenanigans unfolded.
Speaking on To Be the Man podcast, Flair said he won’t blame McMahon for what he did. Staying in touch for 30 years with this business and then stepping down all of a sudden was abrupt. Furthermore, The Nature Boy expects to see Mr. McMahon appear live on the upcoming 30th anniversary of WWE Raw. He further insisted that in case this happens, that show will do bonkers in terms of ratings.
“I’m personally glad he’s back. I don’t begin to know, There’s only a few people that do know and I’m not one of them. I honestly believe that he lives and breathes the business and he just said to himself, ‘I own all this stuff. It’s mine. I built it. I want back in’, and I don’t blame him. Thirty years of being on TV on RAW. Think about that. Thirty years. I mean, it’s unbelievable. I hope he walks out that door in Philadelphia, busts the door open, stands there, and struts down that aisle and says, ‘I’m back.’ The place would go crazy. I guarantee it. That will be a rating.”

Vince McMahon can return to Head of Creative as well
After the news of WWE being sold to a Saudi Arabia firm, management changes took place. Stephanie resigned, Nick Khan became a full-fledged CEO and Vince McMahon is now the new executive chairman. However, Paul Levesque aka Triple H is still the Chief Content Officer (CCO) of the company.
It was reiterated to Fightful that Paul Levesque will continue to serve as Head of WWE creative. But, many believe that it won’t last long. Like her wife went away, don’t be flabbergasted if Hunter also decides to take that road. Also, many sources within the company believe that Vince McMahon will eventually return as creative lead.
There’s an obvious looming threat of massive talent walkout after this. Superstars like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are the major concerns for WWE fans, as they don’t sit well with the middle-east. Also, the women’s division is in serious jeopardy after receiving an owner where females have access to meagre rights.
