Tonight felt like the biggest night WWE has produced in over a decade. Sami Zayn went up against Roman Reigns in the most anticipated “B-level” World Championship main-event. As mentioned earlier, this was going to be a once in a lifetime experience for everyone. As it turned out, a new chapter got written for the history books. The story which was told in Montreal will be remembered for the ages to come.
Coming to the match, Reigns entered first amidst of a insanely hostile crowd. He didn’t even needed to enter the ring and Quebec was already raining down loud “F*ck you Roman” chants on him. Once the dust got settled, the hometown hero Sami Zayn made his way, aided by a deafening ovation.
After the bell rang, neither Sami nor Roman touched each other for several minutes. Both competitors completely soaked in the unreal atmosphere inside of the Bell Centre. Finally, after such all-timer of a response, match got underway. The story revolved around Reigns punishing Zayn in front of his wife, who was front row. As time passed, the David and Goliath of this beautiful story executed numerous maneuvers.
Things got real interesting after the sudden arrival of Jey Uso. After he entered the ring, Roman barked at him to hit Sami with the steel chair. However, the Right Hand Man found himself in the mother of all dilemmas. But, at the end, following unprecedented turn of events, Reigns pinned Sami after probably a trifactor of spears. The crowd went absolutely silent until the return of Kevin Owens, who wiped out any signs of The Bloodline to help his former best friend.

WWE Universe shows their appreciation for Sami Zayn despite his tragic loss
After The Prizefighter cleared the fray for Sami Zayn, he turned drastically emotional. After a moment of silence, the Montreal crowd embraced their Messiah. With the Worlds Apart theme running in the background, everyone serenaded along the Master Strategist as the show went off-air.
