Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are not entirely over with The Bloodline yet. This week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns revealed that he and Solo Sikoa will battle for the Tag Team Championship at the Night of Champions. Therefore, WWE announced that Owens and Zayn will be face-to-face with the Tribal Chief next Friday on SmackDown.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens headlined the first night of WrestleMania 39. They took on The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships. After months of drama and tension, the best friends defeated the longest-reigning tag team champions. This marked the first time in WrestleMania’s history that the tag titles were defended in the main event.
The Tribal Chief defended his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at the main event of WrestleMania 39. Besides, the match saw a lot of outside interference from The Usos. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens came to the aid of Rhodes as The Usos distracted Rhodes during the match.
However, Roman Reigns won the match with the help of Solo Sikoa. The Tribal Chief managed to defend his titles successfully at his third consecutive Mania. Ever since WrestleMania, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens haven’t come face-to-face with Roman Reigns. Therefore, next week on SmackDown, it will be interesting to see the confrontation between all the superstars.
Next week’s episode of SmackDown is a must-watch show for multiple reasons. WWE advertised various matches and segments for the show. The Usos will take on Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Moreover, Pretty Deadly will make its main-roster debut as well. Besides, Grayson Walker will host his special segment with AJ Styles as the guest.
There seem to be cracks in The Bloodline
Following Solo Sikoa’s actions at Backlash, the situation of The Bloodline seems chaotic. Roman Reigns was present this week on SmackDown, and he discussed certain issues with The Usos. He talked about their WrestleMania defeat, followed by their defeat in the rematch with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Roman Reigns blasted The Usos for losing and for the miscommunications in the match at Backlash. He demanded an apology from his brothers as they failed to solve the “Sami and KO problem”. Moreover, The Tribal Chief said that it is now “Usos problem.” He disdained Jimmy Uso in the middle of the ring. It was Jey Uso who made peace by apologizing and resolving the situation temporarily.
At Night of Champions, Roman Reigns and Sikoa will take on Owens and Zayn for the WWE Tag Team titles in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Tribal Chief will also surpass the 1,000-day mark as the Universal Champion. Without a doubt, Roman Reigns is one of the greatest champions in the history of WWE.
