Ryback was one of the biggest things in WWE during his time in the company. He had some notable feuds with John Cena and CM Punk. He also won the Intercontinental Championship. However, Ryback made more than a few enemies during his time with the company.

Ryback parted ways with WWE in 2016 and announced his retirement in August 2018. Since then, he has made rare appearances at autograph signings and fan conventions. The 41-year-old has also been part of podcasts and interviews to discuss wrestling and other topics.

While talking on “Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL”, Ryback commented about his experience working with John Cena and CM Punk. He talked about how a small incident changed Punk’s interactions with him. The former WWE star recalled that he was performing extremely well in terms of merchandise sales after debuting the “Feed Me More” gimmick.

He said that after Punk got to know about the sales Ryback was making, he started behaving in a different way. The two superstars had a great relationship before that. While talking about John Cena, Ryback recalled an incident that happened during their international tour in Saudi Arabia.

Ryback and Cena had a conversation in the gym, where the latter expressed his respect and appreciation for his hard work and positive attitude. He stated that the atmosphere in the industry can bring out the worst in everyone. However, Ryback said it is important to understand people on a personal level and get to know them.
