It was not so long ago when WWE announced Roman Reigns‘ first televised appearance in almost two months. The Head of The Table will be in action the very next day after his televised appearance on SmackDown. Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn in an upcoming live event.
T-Mobile Center, which is Kansas City’s home for sporting events, recently took to their social media and made an official announcement. It stated that Roman Reigns will be in action at a live event on October 14 at the venue in Kansas City. In the event, Reigns will put his title on the line against the former Honorary Uce of The Bloodline, Sami Zayn.
This will mark The Tribal Chief’s first title defense in nearly two months after SummerSlam. This will also be his first non-televised match in a live event after a long while. In his last live event appearance, Roman Reigns defended his championship against the WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio.
The WWE Universe is ecstatic to witness the upcoming match between Zayn and Reigns. The duo battled each other at the main event of Elimination Chamber earlier this year. The match took place in Sami Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Canada. However, Roman came out victorious in his match against Zayn.

The Judgment Day retain their tag team titles against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a chaotic fashion
Last week, it was announced that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would get another shot at reclaiming their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on the September 25 edition of Monday Night Raw. A title rematch was set between the two best friends and The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

The match was scheduled to take place in the main event slot of RAW this week. The two teams couldn’t keep their calm amid the ring announcement and started laying into each other before the bell rang. The match featured several near falls, and at certain moments, it looked like the former champions would reclaim their titles.
However, things took a U-turn when Dominik Mysterio arrived to help Balor and Priest. Soon after, Jey Uso came out and knocked down Dirty Dom. Further, chaos erupted after JD McDonagh and Cody Rhodes entered the fray. The former attacked Zayn using the tag belt to help The Judgment Day defend their gold with a bit of assistance.
