The reason why WWE decided to pull the NXT Women’s Championship from Mandy Rose has been reportedly revealed, as it seems. Rose was released by the WWE after she lost the NXT Women’s Championship. The reason WWE released Rose was because she was publishing material on her Fan Time page beyond the bounds of her WWE contract.

Rose reportedly was posting NSFW content on her BrandArmy page, and it was also a source of income for her. She lost the NXT Championship to Roxanne Perez on the December 13 edition of NXT. The two were slated to face each other at the New Year’s evil on January 10th, but it seems that the WWE wanted to release her as soon as possible, so they decided to lose her the NXT Championship.

Mandy Rose entered the world of WWE through its reality competition series Tough Enough. She was a part of the sixth season of Tough Enough and ended up being the runner-up of the season, with the late Sara Lee being the winner of the season. Rose made her WWE debut on the NXT brand in August 2016 and made her main roster debut in November 2017.

Rose formed an alliance with Sonya Deville, and the two were known as Fire and Desire. The two even fought for the Women’s Tag Team Championship but failed to win the titles. They broke up in 2020 after Rose got involved in a love triangle involving Otis and Dolph Ziggler. Mandy Rose didn’t have a great singles career on the main roster, though she fought for the MITB contract once but failed to win.

Mandy Rose certainly had a great NXT career. She was dominant for over 400 days as the NXT Women’s Champion and had defended her title several times after winning it in October 2021. Rose even formed a stable of her own, named Toxic Attraction, with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne as the members.

The three ladies dominated the NXT women’s division since they simultaneously held each of the division’s major championships. Dolin and Jayne held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship twice as a part of the Toxic Attraction. However, fans are undoubtedly saddened by the departure of their favorite WWE superstar, and they wish Mandy Rose the best for the future.
