WWE superstar Seth Rollins is doing everything in his power to avoid a premature retirement from wrestling. Recently, there’s been a hubbub surrounding his WWE future with the kind of bug he’s been carrying on his back. However, The Visionary doesn’t plan on drawing the curtains too soon. While speaking on The Last Meal, the question of when he’d like to wrap up his career came up.
It seems like his trajectory is somewhat similar to that of the lead singer of his favorite rock band, The Wonder Years. Seth Rollins recently attended their concert, and Dan Campbell, who’s a good friend of Rollins, said that they’re close to being done. But still, there’s much left in the tank, and that is reflected in Rollins’ comments. The WWE superstar called it a real fired-up moment for him.
I went to see one of my favorite bands a couple of weeks ago, The Wonder Years, and the lead singer, Dan, is a good friend of mine and he’s got this bit where he tells the audience that ‘We’re closer to the end than we are to the beginning.’ That resonated with me. ‘We’ve got a lot more in the f*cking tank.’ That’s how I felt. It was a real fired up moment for me, you know?Seth Rollins on The Last Meal
Later in the podcast, Seth Rollins cited the hot state of WWE’s business and raved about being a part of it. So, by the looks, the World Heavyweight Champion seems hellbent on continuing to be on the road with WWE.
He’s been a true workhorse for the Stamford-based promotion over a long period. At a time when the other world champion, Roman Reigns, is on a part-time schedule, Seth Rollins is an embodiment of what a fighting champion looks like.
Seth Rollins is in a jeopardizing state heading into Crown Jewel
Despite having the betting odds in his ballroom, Seth Rollins might feel butterflies in his stomach at Crown Jewel. He’s going up against a determined Drew McIntyre, who’s had enough of the broken dreams but no more. With The Judgment Day being a potential factor in the mix, it’s hard to judge whom they’re going to favor.
Rhea Ripley has tried to allure both Rollins and McIntyre into joining the heel faction in recent weeks. Though The Visionary has been a hard get for The Eradicator, the Scottish Warrior could make the most of this situation if he gets some outside aid at Crown Jewel.
Apart from this, Damian Priest seems ready to cash in his Money in the Bank contract this Saturday in Riyadh, especially on Seth Rollins. Considering how Cody Rhodes completely fried Priest on the mic this week on Raw, it might’ve incited that fire within him.
