The current and inaugural World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins fired shots at Drew McIntyre ahead of their match at Crown Jewel, adding another chapter to their ongoing rivalry. Rollins taunted the Scottish Warrior when they engaged in a war of words on the October 16th edition of Monday Night Raw.
The Visionary said that McIntyre needs to get over with The Bloodline, as he still can’t forgive Jey Uso for costing him the win against Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle. Recently, Seth Rollins tweeted a cryptic message aimed directly at his Crown Jewel opponent, accusing the latter’s inability to choose a side.
Drew McIntyre made some questionable decisions, like not helping Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston when they were getting beaten up. On last week’s episode of Raw, he pinned Sami Zayn, taking advantage of the interference by Rhea Ripley without any remorse. Fans observed McIntyre and Ripley conversing backstage, sparking rumors of McIntyre’s heel turn.
As the World Heavyweight Champion for four months, Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a brutal Last Man Standing match at Fastlane to retain his title. After surviving the King of Strong Style, he will now face another roadblock in the form of the Scottish Warrior.
Rollins and McIntyre were both troubled by The Bloodline and The Judgment Day in the past. Many fans are expecting that Drew will turn heel in this rivalry and will take the help of the Rhea Ripley-led faction. Will The Visionary continue his dominance or will a new Champion emerge? Fans will soon find out at the spectacular event on November 4.
Seth Rollins explains the significance of Vince McMahon
In a recent interview, Seth Rollins discussed his relationship with the Executive Chairman of TKO, Vince McMahon. He shed light on McMahon’s role in his life and his significance to the roster. While talking with Ariel Helwani, Rollins said that the 78-year-old is like a mentor to him. Moreover, The Visionary believes that WWE would have been nothing without Vince’s contribution.
I just told him that I loved him you know and he was just a mentor to me. This business doesn't become what it is today if it wasn't for him. Without him hiring me and paying me I don't have my wife, my kid, and my livelihood is a lot in part to him.Seth Rollins on Vince McMahon
Seth Rollins expressed his immense gratitude to the 78-year-old. He believes that without him, Rollins would have his job, his wife and his kid. It is quite apparent as the current World Heavyweight Champion met his wife Becky Lynch in WWE. Therefore, it was all possible because Vince McMahon gave him the opportunity to be part of the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.
