“When I climb that ladder, I am climbing it with even more fire, more aggression than anyone has ever seen out of me” – Shotzi claims she would be a danger to her MITB opponents

WWE SmackDown superstar Shotzi firmly believes that she will get hold of the gold as far as the WWE blue brand is concerned. This week’s Money in the Bank (MITB) qualifying match pitted the 30-year-old star against Tamina. She defeated Tamina with a Never Wake Up DDT to qualify for the premium live event scheduled to happen on the following Sunday.
This week on SmackDown Lowdown, the newest inclusion in the Women’s MITB match spoke on WWE TV. Megan Morant was the one taking her interview. Shotzi recounted the evening’s activities and claimed that the match had seen a lot of hostility from her end.
Shotzi also stated that it was only a question of time before she became the SmackDown Women’s Champion. The former tag team champion is also confident that she would be much more dangerous during the live event.
The 30-year-old Blue brand star said, “The Money in the Bank contract, changes lives. I came in tonight’s match with a lot of fire. You saw what I did to Tamina, a veteran, a former champion. And money in the bank. When I climb that ladder, I am climbing it with even more fire, more aggression than anyone has ever seen out of me. And that’s what makes me most dangerous. So, when I climb that ladder, and I get that briefcase in my hand, tick-tock, tick-tock. It’s only a matter of time before I am SmackDown Women’s Champion.”
Shotzi’s path to the MITB event
Aliyah and Shotzi were slated to face off in the qualifying round that happened this week. For some weeks now, the two NXT callups were at each other’s collars.
Shotzi was locked up by Aliyah when she was rousing the roster against Raquel Rodriguez in the SmackDown locker room. Shotzi returned the favor the next week when she discovered Aliyah in the locker room sometime before ahead of her contest. As a result, Aliyah got injured. Consequently, the WWE panel chose Tamina as a stand-in.
It now awaits to be seen if the decorated superstar can successfully climb the ladder to get her prize, along with the right to challenge the SmackDown or RAW Women’s Champion whenever she wants.
