Top SmackDown star advertised for next week’s Raw to possibly set up a WrestleMania 39 match with Lita and Becky Lynch

Lita and Becky Lynch will challenge for the women's tag team championship next week on Raw; However, a SmackDown Superstar is set to appear on Raw probably to get involved during the match and start their feud leading to WrestleMania 39.

During the main event of Raw on February 6 of this year, WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her triumphant return. Becky Lynch was squaring off against Bayley in a steel cage main event match, but the Damage CTRL also got involved, and it became 3-on-1 for Becky. However, Lita made a surprise return to even the odds and assist Becky in her victory. The fans in attendance also gave a huge reaction to Lita teaming up with Lynch.

Two weeks later on Raw, Becky Lynch interrupted the “Ding Dong Hello” show hosted by Bayley. The Man challenged Damage CTRL for the women’s tag team titles, announcing her partner to be Hall of Famer Lita. Following Bayley’s acceptance, the match for the women’s tag title between Lita/Becky and Damage CTRL has been made official for Raw next week.

On their events page, WWE is advertising Ronda Rousey to be a part of Raw next week. The Van Ardel Arena, which will be hosting Raw next Monday in Grand Rapids, Michigan, also advertised Ronda’s appearance. According to reports, Rousey will appear alongside her partner Shayna Baszler on the show as well.

Their appearance on Raw will possibly mark the start of their journey on the road to WrestleMania. Previous rumours stated that Rousey and Baszler would be teaming up to challenge for the women’s tag title at WrestleMania 39. The rumours will come true if they appear during the women’s tag title match on Monday.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Lita and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 39?

Since last year, rumours have been going strong regarding the one-on-one match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39. However, considering the current scenario and storylines, it seems very unlikely to happen this year. Nevertheless, Ronda is reported to face Becky at the show of shows in another way instead.

Recent reports suggest that Rousey and Shayna Baszler will take on the team of Lita and Lynch for the women’s tag team championship at WrestleMania this year. However, with Damage CTRL holding the women’s tag title, the match could also be a triple-threat tag team encounter. 

Whether the women’s tag title match at WrestleMania will be a singles or triple-threat tag team match, depends on the result of the title match on the upcoming Raw. It would be interesting to see how things play out on Raw. How story goes further between all the women involved, also remains to be seen.
